Our new motorhome!

This was the second part of our Woolacombe adventure on Monday.

We have been looking at motorhomes for over a year now, researched the life out of it, been to a motorhome show and even rented one for our birthday adventures this year.

A motorhome, we decided was definitely in our future.... but which one?  We needed one that was small enough to be comfortable drive around, yet was big enough for both of us PLUS Monkey when he comes along on our adventures too.  Finally we found it, in the form of a Roller Team T-Line 590; 4 berth motorhome, under 6m long, not too wide, great spacious interior with electric drop down bed for the night time.

Having returned from Woolacombe, we went along to the dealership in the afternoon, put the deposit down and came out proud owners of our very own motorhome.









It has been a long week waiting to take delivery, and finally this week she arrived!







We had already booked Wednesday off, so off we went to the campsite around the corner from the house to pitch up - oh the delight on our faces when the wind picked up, and you can't even imagine the joy we were experiencing when it poured with rain - there we were all tucked away in our cosy comfy little motorhome - and for the first time this year, we were not struggling with a tent in some very inclement weather!

We look forward to having a lifetime of adventures with Wurtlefkey, but for now as we were restricted by time we decided to cross off one of the things on our bucket list....

 

Park our motorhome on the beach, make a cup of tea and then sit together and watch the world go by

A strange bucket list item I know, but it was everything we hoped it would be! We drove off happy and content to put Wurtlefkey in to storage until our next adventure.

 

By the way, the name.....
